My lab has shredded leftover meat (often bacon & sausage, chicken, pork, lamb), fish skins, broken eggs & cooked vegetables from my cooking in with his biscuits most days. The nutrients keep his coat shiny, his eyes bright and his immune system boosted. He's a picture of health.
He also has special flavoured no-splinter olivewood toys to chew on that clean his teeth, and if he behaves really well and follows commands then he gets chopped carrots or banana as snacks.

I imagine Dallas growing up to be like that tragic monstrous lab escapee dog mutant from Ginga Densetsu Weed.
It'll be like Plague Dogs, where Dallas has escaping a diseased place and being pursued by cunts
