I'm probably going to sound like a biased cunt here, but I hate their music.
One of the neighbours here has two kids, one of them LOVES this group. Just big into music overall, so she's someone I at least have something to talk about, you know? One time she asked if I had ever heard of them, and I admitted I had but never listened to them. She's always been a sweet kid and a fan of my albums, so I humoured her and listened to two songs.
I'm not anti-pop music. Christ, The Beatles were considered pop when you think about, but I just couldn't connect with it. It's clean, the engineering and production is great, and the kids in the group clearly have talent... It just doesn't grasp a 53 year old man like myself, and it probably shouldn't.
I will say this with 100% sincerity though: I hope they're not getting molested like Menudo and N'Sync were.
