I think Gilbert’s was a two part episode - I haven’t seen it in years but he was the obnoxious loud Jewish husband and his wife was giving birth and Cosby was delivering it. The mentor story I also heard from either a young black actor / comedian that was on the show or a show regular and at the time was jealous that Cosby was “mentoring” talent but never picked him. Of course when he got older he realized Cosby wasn’t mentoring anyone and just having sex / raping all these women. I think it was Deon Richmond.
