My buddy ordered DoorDash the other night from Shake Shack and I could not believe how much it cost. It effectively doubled the price and he only lives like 7 mins away with traffic. He’s always complaining about how he has no money but apparently he door dashes shit multiple times a week.

I think I’ve used it less than 10 times in my life. I’ve always hated delivery just because the last thing I want is another set of hands in the food process. I’ll pick the shit up myself.

Ive only ever used a company card for it when traveling. Id NEVER use it from home. Such a ripoff. And the shits cold and sloppy by the time the nigger delivers it anyways.

I get $120 a day and no receipts required under $50. I found a happy hour with $3 beer in NJ and could get 40 beer if I tip cash. I haven't tried it yet.

I have a friend who easily spends $200 a week.
It's barely edible goyslop when they hand it over at the counter let alone when its waiting for an uberpaki to deliver.
With inflation blowing up cheap fast food (McD) to the price of a pub meal it just seems pointless to buy that slop.

I'm at the stage were I barely buy from supermarkets now, just farm/butchers and a local market.

Most of the cybersecurity guys i work with at the Utility Substations are constantly traveling from Cali to Maine to Texas to North Dakota constantly though. They get 120-200 a day per diem usually.

About a year ago I was standing outside the Gramercy Theater waiting for the doors to open when a Domino’s delivery guy pulled up on a bike. He dropped one of the items, some kind of little bread bites, on the sidewalk. I do local high voltage line work currently but the real money is in travel. I think once my little ones grow up ill go back on the road and cash in on Utility Transmission. Some of them guys get paid 24hr days 6 days a week. They work like 80-100+ hrs a week but get paid for like 144 hrs work. 55$ an hour and time+1/2 after 40 AND double time sundays. They do it for 10 years and retire at 45 and live with both their houses and 4 cars paid off for the rest of their lives. Sounds like a miserable existence for those 10yrs though. Seems worth it though. Id have my house paid off in the first year or two.
