I used Just Eat Takeaway back during lockdowns because I was working evenings a lot and you could get actually get pretty damn good deals, like 10 - 20 shekels off after like five orders.

Now all those freebies are gone, all the prices have shot up, and it's impossible to order from somewhere without a hefty delivery fee. It's become prohibitively expensive to order out anyway and all the restaurants over here are encouraging people to order directly from them to ice out the middle man.

I get two meals a day while traveling 60 or more miles away from the office and get to buy water/gatorade/ice whenever.

Does that include turkey sandwiches?

A lot of places trick you into using a faggot gig app service now. You order Chinese directly and think a little Asian woman is going to deliver your food and then some fat black bitch smelling like shit is waddling up your door steps.

Too much. I use Uber Eats and Doordash tho. I usually flip between whichever one is sending me the 40% or 50% off coupons when you spend $20 or more. The trick tho is it still ends up costing what it would cost for you to go pick it up because of the inflated prices and all the stupid ass fees but at least its delivered to your door at the same price so I'm still okay with it. I probably spend $100-150 per week. I even order from the convenience stores b/c of the 40% off so I can grab a few diet drinks, some snackaroos and chill and play some vidyagames.

I don't understand why these things are so popular, too. Do you fucks not get even the slightest bit of enjoyment out of the drive (or walk) to a restaurant? The fresh air, a bit of exercise, the assurance that the minimum number of people have had a hand in what you're about to put inside of your body?

I'm outside most of the time, I absolutely don't get any enjoyment out of driving to the restaurant. The bags they give the filthy delivery guys all seal and then they staple them on top of that. The Indians I don't want to deal with are the ones at the store who can't understand me and I can't understand them. The ones delivering the shit just drop it on the porch and fuck off.

I had an elderly neighbor call me thanking me for getting her a burger from Dennys delivered to her. I had to explain to her I didn't do it and the retarded driver misread the adress. Covid did have some fun moments
