You might not have seen my post from yesterday. Can you tell me how you made your money to own several properties at (I'd guess) 35-40 years old?

I'll go first. I got interested in investing as a teenager. Opened my first brokerage account at 15. Played around for a few years, but got skin in the game. After uni landed a job at a US BB. Did that for 2 years before moving to another. 3 years there. 2 more years at a HF. Started a boutique PEF with a couple of friends after that. Got a good exit 8 years later.

How about you? How did you set yourself up?

He also says he has all these properties in the GTA housing market. So we are to believe that he owns these multiple properties in an area where the average home price of over $1m in 2023 and also have a 2016 Moto Droid or a 2008 Flexus. Boq lacks the ability to at least be reasonable when he is lying, or to be anything other than the hero of every story he makes up. Im a licensed instructor, don't want to dox my field but have been since 2017. (edit: this is also the year I got married)

I've had investments since 2006...couple of Laundromats and condominiums in the greater Toronto area, and a townhouse in Kenya. I am in the midst of purchasing real estate in Turkey which will make me eligible for Turkish citizenship.
