I only have peripheral knowledge, but generally crack is smoked out of a simple glass tube or a crackpipe with a spherical bowl:
It looks to me like she's hitting a small beaker-shaped bong. Perhaps people do smoke crack out of bongs, but I'm not familiar enough with it to confirm or deny.
Point in favor of HJS smoking crack/meth:
More often than not, weed smoke is held in the lungs to increase absorption, and we clearly see her exhale very quickly after taking the hit. This is consistent with harder drugs.
The assertion that "weed doesn't make you act like that" is ridiculous, being caught in the act would certainly put her on edge, and both sorts of intoxication can make the user paranoid and wig out if startled.
