This was still very early on at XM and things were fresh. A lot of the hangers on were sure to show up a bunch at the beginning. Big Kev, Frenchie, Dru Boogie and Joe. That faded over time.

Joe would call the fucking HOTLINE at weird times to promote his gigs. Like, we'd be in the middle of an in-studio interview with Brian Cranston and the hotline would start ringing. This would distract the SHIT out of Opie, who is now pointing at me and then to the phone screen like "Find out who that is!!!" And then I'd have to be like, It's Brother Joe. And not just Opie, Anthony would fucking roll his eyes too, because really, why the fuck is he calling in NOW during this interview to plug?

I know you all want Joe stories but the fact of the matter is that he just wasn't thought about so often like you guys here. Every couple of months the hotline would ring and the screener would type BROTHER JOE and we'd all remember that he was a person who was alive. He'd show up to Ant's parties and holidays, but I avoided him for the most part.
