Not just said he was joining, but preemptively released merch of the show. KtC tricked a whole bunch of fans into thinking it was really happening only for Keith to turn around and say it was a marketing stunt, one last effort to show Ronnie how much interest there was in the show.

This obviously backfired, as at the time, Ronnie was negotiating with SiriusXM, and the company was probably pretty confused and unhappy when they find out the dude they’re negotiating with is planning to have a show (that he didn’t tell them about) with a notorious racist who they fired only a year before this. What was stopping SXM from just yanking the deal? Now Ronnie doesn’t have a SXM show OR one with Anthony.

THE OPSTAR took ant out of his dead end tin knocker job and utilised his ability to be funny and do half decent impressions. People hate on THE OPSTAR steering the ship but we all know that the Ronnie vs Flaherty fiasco would have been outright hilarity, instead of second hand cringe embarrassment, if THE OPSTAR was in the background pulling the string like what he did best.

But becoming more relevant than they are right now?

If they set their differences aside like actual human beings and did a podcast together, it would probably be terrible but look at how many shitty podcasts out there actually have listeners. They can certainly be more relevant than they are right now. But that’s probably gone at this point also just because so much bad blood has built up. I’m pretty sure Anthony would still do it, even for all the shit that he talks. He has said as much in the not too distant past. I think it’s Opie that would be more hesitant and for good reason.
