So we're going to get one of these for every officer he named? And he also has one from the department itself. So, if I understand correctly, he has to prove all of the disputed claims for each individual officer.

His inability to keep his story straight is going to be a huge issue during a deposition with a hostile lawyer asking rebuttal questions. If Niki has to do her own then it's going to go even worse.

TYFYS. So it's pretty obvious that his strategy from the beginning was to scare the city/police officers into thinking this could be a highly costly and risky lolsuit, in the hopes that he gets paid millions of dollars to go away. Even though the swatting is still allegedly ongoing, one of the potential suspects is Patrick himself, and there isn't any real relief requested other than money. I'm sure the city/police see this for what it is, and have a better idea of who is funding this and know that they will run out of money long before they do.

So I’m not a lawyer (WHAT?!?!) but it looks like Pat used the same strategy he used for the Quasi suit - he hoped quasi would fold and not defend himself in court leading to a Pat win. Of course that didn’t happen and pig couldn’t fathom it (who has 17 grand lying around? Said poor Pat) and he ended up owing close to 80k.
Now Pat figured he could do the same thing and get different results but is learning the old phrase is true “you can’t fight city hall” and will be owing a lot of money. Pat saw other people getting big settlements from cities all over the country and figured it would be an easy pay day. Of course problem here is Pat is white and no guns were fired.
Hes 45 years old and a good part of the last 10 years (and the majority of his marriage) have been dealing with lawyers and court rooms. No wonder he got so fat!

Even Niki said on their media tour she is an advocate for police reform (only in relation to SWATs of her home of course and said she was using her “white privilege” to be disrespectful / arrogant to police who are just doing their jobs.
