Martin Sheen starred in this and Apocalypse Now, legend.

His kids gave us The Mighty Ducks and Men at Work.
Charlie Sheen and Emilio Estevez are also in it as kids playing near the lamp post. Also Platoon had Charlie so hush now, child.

I need to give this one a watch. Terrence Malick is very hit or miss with me

Is Badlands anything like The Thin Red Line? Because that one makes me weep and smile like a child. Never really got over Nick Stahl’s character dying, poor lad.

Extremely funny to me as well how Adrien Brody got the shaft without knowing. Always a right laugh when smug entitled thesps get their comeuppance and have to realise making a film is a team effort, Terry was a real one for that.

Besides a confused George Clooney for thirty seconds, there wasn’t a poor performance in the final edit, so evidently TM made the right calls.
