A few years ago an ex of mine decided to hit me up and see "how I was" and she eventually broke down and crying about mistakes she made. She was going through a divorce, has a retarded kid that she can't handle and was on the verge of going into a shelter. She talked about how good the times we had together were and I found her to be so pathetic that it made me cringe.

For some bizarre reason she thought I would care. I stopped talking to her the moment we broke up and I never thought of her once, like you're supposed to do.

I don't have social media, so I don't know what became of her, but it still makes me laugh that she allowed herself to get into a shitty relationship like she did.

I had a similar thing happen a while back. A girl I fucked when I was 20 found me online, how are you, blah blah blah. Then she asked if we could talk, and I stupidly replied "uh, I guess so". She ended up marrying some Puerto Rican guy 20 years older than her, who was a career disability recipient, pumped out three kids, and got real fat. She started with the tales of woe, and the gay nostalgia, and asked me if she ever bailed on the PR could she come back to the area and stay with me, and I was like "what are you, nuts?". I pretty much just laughed, and she got all pissy, like we had some retarded eternal bond because she used to be super hot a million years ago. It was all really cringey. Supposedly, she croaked a few years later, or so I heard.
