A guy flipping burgers should at the very least still be able to afford to rent a single bed apartment, utilities, etc. No one in this country who has a job should be living at or below subsistence. The problem isn't that people need to be paid more, the problem is that the cost of housing is so out of control. I just saw a listing for a 2/2 apartment in Salem NEW HAMPSHIRE for over $6000 a month. Who the fuck is that for??? The fact that you can't even find a 1 bedroom apartment for under $1500 a month is absurd. That's out of control. It's more jew bullshit. Single entities are allowed to buy up massive amounts of housing, then rent it back to the public at any rate they want. It's not like people can go without housing and force a market adjustment, either. It's a racket.

There was a video posted here a while back where this greedy little heeb outlined how he bought up dozens of single family homes in middle class neighborhoods and converted them to section 8 housing to cash in on recurring, guaranteed government subsidies. That shit should be illegal. Foreign entities are also buying a lot of housing and then renting it back to Americans. THAT should be illegal. Then there's the mass influx of foreigners who are willing to live in dirt poor conditions, which only undermines the pursuit of happiness which has been a cornerstone of American culture.

It's all fucked.

Btw you can have a liveable income while being low skilled. Find something in a warehouse that does unlimited overtime and just work all the time. Use the income to upskill, learn how to weld or whatever the fuck makes sense in your life and network.

It’s not rocket science. Expecting a middle class income working menial retail jobs is insane. It’s not the 70s anymore.

That’s true, I was in this boat when I was a 20 something and I hit the point I was forced to get my act together because I couldn’t sponge from my grandparents anymore,

I never considered abusing welfare or anything, though. Lots of these issues would fix themselves if the gibs were turned off. Necessity is often the driver of change.
