It’s odd to argue that point at length though. It makes people think you have a vested interest in defending pedos. Groups that defend pedos are niche but they’ve been trying to get including under the umbrella of the LGBTQIA+ (they hope they can sneak an M in there for MAP (minor attracted person) since they don’t like that pedophile word. They use some of the same slogans the LGTB communities use like “love is love” / “you can’t choose who you love” etc. and hope it eventually is normalized (like the famous NAMBLA tape they played on Stern / ONA - “be proud, times will change” etc)
it’s the same with how NAMBLA has been trying to piggyback the gay community for years - I remember when they started having the big gay pride parades in NYC way back in the 90s NAMBLA tried to join them and say “we’re just like you! We’re all gay!” And the gay community said get the fuck away because that was the last thing they needed - to be associated with open pedophiles.
